When I think of myself as a musician, I do not contain myself to one musical folder. I was classically trained from a young age and this musical footing has enabled me to dedicate my life to this passion. But, I was not constrained by the genre, if anything it allowed me to access a multitude of different instruments, and this in turn opened up a much broader spectrum of musical opportunities.
Over the years I have performed in a variety of different musical groups, including orchestras, chamber ensembles, concert bands, rock and jazz bands and folk ensembles.

My broad spectrum of musical experiences has enabled me to become a versatile and flexible performer, being at ease in any genre and any ensemble.

In 2010, whilst teaching in Thailand, I set up the Jazz Connection, which was an annual jazz exhibition and workshops between multiple high profile International schools.

It was clear from an early age that music would become an integral component of my life, and in 2001 I completed a Degree in Music Performance at Leeds college of Music. Feeling a deep desire to pass this knowledge and experiences on to others, I studied a Post Graduate Certificate in Education at Bath Spa University and began a career in music education. I have held many leadership roles in schools across the UK and in Asia, teaching at several prestigious schools including Harrow International School Bangkok, St Marys Calne, Stonar School Atworth and Monkton Combe in Bath.

I have performed at a wide variety of events including private parties, christenings, funerals, weddings and receptions. Coming from a background in performance and having a wealth of experience in varying events, I take the time to tailor options specific to your requirements, ensuring the music for your event is successful.
