Born in Bristol, my formal classical music training began at the age of six. My love for music in all its different guises, led me to pursue a career in music education, teaching in the UK and overseas for over twenty years. I have taught both classroom and instrumental music. 

As a composer, I have composed for a multitude of different ensembles including school orchestras, chamber groups, as well as Jazz and concert bands. More recently some of my work has been performed by London based, Plus Minus ensemble and the Bath City Waits.

Performance has always been at the core for me and have performed with numerous bands, orchestras and chamber ensembles, as well as accompanying students and professionals.
